Master Privacy Policy and Terms of Engagement
This Master Privacy Policy and Terms of Engagement (“Policy”) applies to all websites, subdomains, digital infrastructure, working groups, project teams, and regional initiatives operated by or affiliated with the Belarusian Representative Assembly, Inc. (the “Assembly”, “Corporation”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or participating in any Assembly-managed digital resource, subdomain, or programmatic initiative, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Unified Corporate Jurisdiction & Scope
The Belarusian Representative Assembly, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware.
- Centralized Governance: All affiliated subdomains, regional digital platforms (including the California Operational Office and International Hubs), Working Groups, and Project Teams operate under the unified oversight, financial controls, and governing policies of the Assembly’s Board of Directors.
- No Independent Entity: Affiliated Working Groups, Project Teams, or Subdomains do not constitute separate legal entities unless expressly incorporated as such.
2. Participant Safety, Verification, and Data Confidentiality
Recognizing the legal, physical, and digital risks affecting individuals participating in civic, cultural, and public-interest programs—particularly those operating from high-risk or sensitive jurisdictions:
- Confidentiality Standards: Pursuant to Article III, Section 3 of the Assembly’s Bylaws, strict verification, confidentiality, and security procedures are enforced to protect participant data, internal consultations, and digital communications.
- Data Protection: Personal identification details collected during verification or program participation are encrypted, stored securely, and processed solely for authorized organizational purposes.
- Non-Disclosure: The Assembly will not sell, lease, or publicly disclose participant information, email addresses, or verification records without explicit consent, except as required by applicable United States law.
3. Participation Rights & Non-Liability
- Non-Corporate Membership: Participation in Assembly activities, subdomains, Working Groups, or Project Teams does not constitute statutory corporate membership in the Corporation and does not confer corporate voting rights regarding the appointment of Directors.
- No Commercial Agency: Engagement with Assembly initiatives does not create an employment relationship, commercial partnership, joint venture, or agency between the participant and the Corporation.
- Limitation of Liability: Participants shall not be personally liable for the debts, obligations, or liabilities of the Corporation solely by reason of participation.
4. Intellectual Property & Digital Archives
- Public Interest Infrastructure: Digital tools, public databases, open-access archives, mapping systems, and research materials published across Assembly websites are maintained as public-interest infrastructure.
- Authoritative Content: Official statements, governance documents, and public disclosures published in designated “Official” sections represent the primary stance of the Corporation. Unauthorized modification or misrepresentation of Assembly materials on third-party sites is prohibited.
5. Intellectual Property & External Links
Assembly websites may feature curated resources, field research documentation, and links to institutional or community partners. The Assembly maintains non-profit cross-linking for educational and cultural advocacy purposes but is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of external third-party entities.
